These dogs are 17-19 inches (43-48 cm.) high the bitches are about 16-19 inches (41-48 cm.) high; the average weight of the dogs is about: 70-75 pounds (32-34 kg.); the bitches weigh less - 55-65 pounds (25-30 kg.). These dogs are good fro living indoors.

This is a large headed and thick boned dog that does not impede vigor. The muzzle is very broad and the face is rather short.
