This breed is also called Forentine Spitz and Cane de Quirinale. The breed originated in Italy and the male is about 27 to 30 cm and the bitches are about 25 to 28 cm high. The weight of the dog is approximately 5 kg. The italian volpino picture should not be the only guide in buying such a dog.
