The weight of the dog of this breed must not exceed seven pounds. The puppies are born black and tan. Later black turns to dark blue and tan becomes richer. The head has a rich golden tan, and the legs – a bright, rich tan, not extending above the elbow on the forelegs nor above the stifle on the hind legs.
