This is a very rare breed found mostly in the Planina region of southwestern Yugoslavia. They are characterized by the black and tan smooth coat and stand from 18 to 22 inches (46-56 cm) at the shoulder. The weight is from 44 to 55 pounds (20 to 25 kg).
